"Up All Night" is the debut album by British-Irish boy band One Direction. It was released on 18 November 2011 through Sony Music. The project marks the first official release from the group since finishing third on The X Factor a year prior. Recording sessions for the album took place in London, Los Angelesand Sweden. Savan Kotecha served as a major collaborator on the project. Additional producers and songwriters include Steve Mac, Rami Yacoub,RedOne, Toby Gad, Ed Sheeran, Kelly Clarkson and Carl Falk, among others.
